With 24 years of trial experience, including nearly a decade as a Prosecutor, Bert von Herrmann possesses unique knowledge of the legal system which has contributed to his numerous courtroom successes in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation.

He is licensed to represent clients in all South Carolina courts, all trial courts, The Court of Appeals and The South Carolina Supreme Court In Federal Court he is admitted to the U.S. District Court of South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Whether a misdemeanor or felony charge, personal injury or workers’ compensation claim, Bert von Herrmann provides aggressive representation both in and out of the courtroom.

Each case is evaluated on the merits and ability of the firm to be able to help the client achieve a positive result. Having appeared in several State and Federal courts, the challenges vary as to the complexity. The issues we have dealt with have ranged from very basic to complex litigation dealing with 20 plus attorneys.

Mr. von Herrmann is also certified in alternative dispute resolution and has successfully represented countless clients in mediation and arbitration, in an effort to help the client achieve positive without the costs of more litigious and avoiding needless contentious outcomes where possible, yet continuing towards the preparation for trial at all stages.
